Junior Chamber Internation (JCI) a worldwide federation of young leaders, between the ages of 18-40. The organizatioin has been referred to as the premiere leadership development organization for young people.

These pro-active individuals, span more than 9000 local organizations, crossing over 120 nations and territories. These individuals strengthen their leadership characteristics by being involved, taking different courses, or working on local, regional, national and international events and projects - all voluntary and all in a non-threatening environment. Through their involvement, members develop personally and professionally. Positive energy creates positive growth, and that is a strong component of all JCI members. Leadership training, community contribution, business networking, fellowship, and international experience - Junior Chamber members are pursuing these opportunities and many more.

Junior Chamber International was founded in Mexico City on December 11, 1944 when representatives from eight nations met to create an organization that would address global concerns. JCI Kingston was granted its charter in 1945, and has actively addressed Local & National concerns ever since.
